Almost everyone has seen “killed by Crustacean the Soup” while joining a match that is already running.
The game needs someone to “kill” you when it moves you from watching to playing, so it uses a placeholder name. A rumour on the fan wiki says it remembers a developer who passed away; players from the first Chivalry say it is the old gamer tag of someone at Torn Banner. Either way: the soup gets everyone once.
